 This outfit is unusually colorful for me. I know this blog is called the importance of being colorful but I tend to wear a lot of neutrals and have one colorful item to give it a pop.

Thursday

 This is what I wore today. It was surprisingly cool this evening, only 88 degrees.

 This is a brooch I made today.

I've been watching Sherlock Holmes masterpiece classic series on netflix. It is so good. I've always been a big Sherlock Holmes fan, but I am just so impressed. I went to the roller rink today with my friend M. We both want to do roller derby but unfortunately you have to be 18 and I'm only 15 and she's 17. So we're just practicing for now. Well we were there was a guy who looked like he was in 5th grade well he took a liking to me. When I was getting ready to leave some of his friends told him to go get my number. I made a B line for the car, Luckily he didn't catch up. I really didn't want to reject him in front of his friends. Well I'm off love you, K

Wednesday

 This is what I wore today. It was so so so hot today and I was burning up in my jeans. I think I'm going to stay clear of pants for the rest of the summer.

 I decided to make a hair piece today. I used some feathers from the feather duster and some of the new beads I got at the $1 jewelry store. It gave me a chance to use my new hot glue gun.

 And this is what I ended up with. I had never made one before so there is plenty of room for improvement but it worked out pretty well.

This is my cousin wearing the flower I made her. I'm so tired its been a really long day. My family had a Bible study at our house tonight it was so much fun but now I'm drained. Hope you all had a terrific Wednesday. Love you, K

Tuesday

This is what I wore today.

 I went to the $1 jewelry store today to get pretty necklaces to break apart for the beads.

 I also got this thing it should be really useful.

 and this to store my beads.

 New hot glue gun I'm so excited I can't wait to try it out.

 I stocked up on the glue sticks.

 I got some pretty white ribbon.

 Necklace clasps.

 Some pins.

 Hair clips.

 Thank you cards.

Monday

 Today I decided to do my hair up with one of my new scarfs.

 I pinned the new brooch I made on it.

 Today there was no one around to take pictures of my outfit so I tried to do it myself. Its really hard to take good pictures in my house because we have really bad lighting.

 So this weekend was my cousin's birthday and she asked me to make her a cloth flower. So I went out to my work station and I found my cat sitting in my chair. She refused to move.

 The pattern is really easy you cut out seven petals altogether four big ones and three small ones.

 Stack them up starting with the big ones and sew them together in the middle. I got the design from Jones design company.

 I also made paper flowers for the box.

 I thought they needed a little color.

 My cat finally got tiered of sharing a chair and moved to the window seat.

 So at the end of the day I curled up in front of the tv and painted my nails. The color is OPI sweet heart.

 I'm fixing to head to my warm bed with a good book.
